Edward, an aspiring actor, lives in New York and dreams of big roles and the love of others. To get a little closer to his goal, he decides to undergo a radical surgical intervention and completely changes his appearance. The dream of a new face comes true, but soon turns into a nightmare: he loses the role for which he was literally born, and with the fury of an obsessive seeks to find what he has lost.
