Paul is a writer who lives in a lonely house on the outskirts. But things are not going well: the customer rejected his latest book, and he tries to forget about his failures with the help of alcohol. However, the life of a hermit changes dramatically when he meets a stranger who helps him avoid a fight at a roadside cafe. Learning that the stranger is traveling lightly, Paul suggests him to stay with him for the night. The stranger unexpectedly shows interest in the writer and offers a new plot for his book. But who he is, and what does the mysterious tattoo in the form of a black butterfly on his body mean?
