The film focuses on the military events in Estonia in 1944, and the individual in the context of the war rather than war itself. It shows the war from both perspectives – those of the Estonians in the Red Army and in the German Army.
The film won in March 2016 at Russian film festival "Kinoshok" (Anapa) Best Cinematography Award, which became Rein Kotov and Taniel Mart, as well as Russian film-scientists and -critics Guild award.
The film is sold in many countries like Japan, China, France, Germany, UK etc.
