Adam Clay lives in a quiet suburb, farms bees and doesn't talk about his past life. An elderly neighbour is glad that an interested person who improves nature and ecology has come to their region. The beekeeper often communicates with the lovely Mrs Parker, who one day becomes a victim of financial fraudsters. The scammers steal money from all the woman's accounts, and after a severe stroke the senior citizen commits suicide. Adam decides to avenge her.
